Dr Lee Kofman is an Israeli-Australian author of three fiction books (published in Israel, in Hebrew) and two works of creative nonfiction (published in Australia, in English). Her memoir The Dangerous Bride: A memoir of Love, Gods and Geography (Melbourne University Press 2014) has been included in Best Books 2014 (The Age and Australian Book Review) and 2015 (The Age). Her most recent book is Imperfect: How our bodies shape the people we become (Affirm Press, 2019); there Lee examines how our appearance can impact our lives by using her own life story and the stories of people she met.
